So what is a Countrywide mortgage. Well the word mortgage is actually a French word that translates to “death pledge.” Dont worry, though, it isnt as ominous as it sounds, but it is something to take seriously. The lender, though, still maintains certain rights if you do not hold up your end of the agreement.
